[Oirase Keiryu Hotel] 10th anniversary of walking with moss!

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Hoshino Resort Oirase Keiryu Hotel, the only resort hotel built on the banks of the Oirase mountain stream, the hotel invited an artist-in-residence to create an 8.5m wide and 2m high giant "Oirase Moss Art Wall" in the hotel's public area "Keiryu-BASE", The artist stayed at the hotel as a moss artist-in-residence and created art based on inspiration from the natural beauty of the Oirase Keiryu.

The Oirase Keiryu, part of the Towada-Hachimantai National Park, has clear streams, moss-covered rocks, and deciduous broad-leaved forests, with lush fresh greenery, forests in autumn, and a world of snow and ice.

The scenery is so breathtaking that it has been designated a special scenic spot and a natural monument.

The work is warmly designed to give you a sense of the wonders of nature, and to allow you to enjoy it with all of your senses as a unique landscape that can only be found here at the Oirase Keiryu Hotel.
